If you can get this assembled, it is very nice. However........ I am good at assembling things so I disregarded the reviews that said this was very challenging to put together. I also ignored the warning that it was poorly manufactured; it was exactly what I was looking for, and I was arrogant enough to think 'these issues 'couldn't happen to me'. Despite the warnings, I took the plunge and order it anyway. That was a big mistake; I should have listened to the reviews. This thing was a very major challenge to assemble, and I am serious when I suggest NOT to ASSEMBLE AROUND CHILDREN because you will be reduced to shouting expletives to which only the vulgar resort--seriously!!!Pros: *It looks nice * It is sturdy and fairly heavy. It will still need to be laid down during a tropical storm or hurricane. *It doesn't rust.Cons: *It is very poorly manufactured. *Screws or screw receptacles were not threaded correctly *Metal was extruded in channels where parts slide in, making it impossible to assemble *Directions were very unclear, though they appear to be okay as you are working. More on this later. *Standards (the sides) were bent at the top where the skats are inserted. *Pieces were missing. *Slats were scratched *Some slats were warped *The hex screws are proprietary making it difficult to use anything but their little hex screw wrench. You can use an 1/8 bit and 'force' it to screw in, but you must be careful not to strip the screw and it will only allow you to screw it in a little bit before you get resistance. Thus, all 70 or so screws must be done by hand with the little hex wrench, and your thumb will get sore! *It does not provide privacy; you can see through it.The company asks that you contact them first if you have missing pieces. I did so, and I am still waiting, two weeks later, for those pieces to arrive, despite an email assuring me they were on the way. There is also an insert in the box instructing you to call Costco if you have issues; I did, and Costco had no idea to what I was referring! I then called Amazon, and they were great!! They sent out a replacement immediately, and because this thing is 70 pounds and oversized, they had a special pickup done at no cost. So, if despite this warning, if you decide to purchase this, here are some assembly tips:****Do not tighten ANY of the screws until the very end.****Hand tighten each screw initially with only two or three twists max. You will need the play in the side standards (frame) to get the top and bottom frames on.****Only after you have successfully added the top and bottom frames, and tightened them, should you go around and tighten all the screws.****TIghten the screws evenly or you'll lose your square. I walked around the thing twice tightening the screws a little at a time.****If you tighten the screws prior to adding the final slats, and the top and bottom frames, you will never get them on, and the swearing will commence.I will repeat: the slats in the side frame must be extremely loose to provide the play to insert the top and bottom. Why they couldn't have put this tidbit in the instructions is a mystery.I hope this helps you a bit if you decide to buy it and assemble it.Update: 2 months after contacting the manufacturer to send the missing parts, I received them. Instead of sending the four missing pieces, they sent one.
