We put up this windscreen on our patio fencing so people cannot see into the porch. It works really well. You can only slightly see through it when the sun is directly on it. Very happy with the screen and the company who was selling it. The screen came very quickly.Easy to put on fence and looked like a professional application. Hid all the trash in the background and gave the yard a clean look. The only problem that I had when installing was the grommet tearing away a bit from the fabric a bit. However, it’s very sturdy and looks good.So far so good. Loved hiding the chain link too. Installed it by myself, easy peasy. You'll need to buy zip ties separately. Will see how it fairs through the winter. Fingers crossed.have not put it up yet to hide neighbors trash in back yardOriginally purchased this windscreen in 2020 as a privacy barrier to attach to our pool fence. We attached it using the same mechanism shown in the stock photos. Installation was easy (although a two-person job) and the grommets and the screen are very well-made. The screen is still intact a year-and-a-half later. Our pool fence is a substantial, metal fence almost exactly like the one in the stock photo, and it was installed with our pool only a few years ago. The fence is secure and still in like-new condition. Well, it was like new. Until a windy thunderstorm moved through our area. The screen is truly heavy-duty and no wind is going to pass through it, which is appropriate since it's called a "wind screen." The problem is that if you have a storm and you're using this along a fence, the wind can't pass through the screen at all. Not even a little bit, and your fence is going to bow or give before this windscreen is going to bow or give. It literally collapsed a section of our fence...our very heavy, metal fence. It will cost several hundred dollars to repair our fence, and we're lucky the damage wasn't worse. If you live in a windy or stormy area, I would suggest making sure that your fence posts are in concrete (ours were, by the way) and that you install a wind screen that has at least some draft openings designed to allow air to pass through so that wind pressure doesn't build up and bow or damage your fence. Before the storm, the windscreen served its purpose for what we intended, which was for privacy and to prevent leaves from the neighbor's trees from blowing into our pool. I would consider installing another screen, but if it doesn't come with vents then I wouldn't do it.I like it keeps the neighbors out of my businessThis is pretty cheapy look and feel shade cloth but the grommets seem tough and sewn well. It's arrives all bunched up and wrinkly but stretches out pretty good when you get it on the fence. No zip ties included so need to buy some, probably 75 to 100 for a 50' roll. Total eyesore on the landscape and since the neighbors can't maintain or train their dogs properly I bought this to keep them from seeing any deer, skunk, opossum, or coyote on my side and hopefully I can get a good nights sleep. They bark 24/7 so we'll see.The description claims that the privacy fence/material "measures exactly 12' long x 3'8" tall, perfect fit for a fence that's 4 ft tall". However, the privacy fence was actually 7" wider and did not fit the area we needed it for. Yes, there are ways to wrap ends around and make things worse but in a harsh winter climate/where gusty winds blow, we expected an expensive product such as this one to fit, as described. After reaching out for a refund and not hearing anything back, I reached out to Amazon who was unable to do anything as this is a third party seller. No surprise there, but then lies the question why they are able to sell on Amazon? Be careful as the size is not accurate as claimed and if their customer service can't process a simple refund for unused tarp, what are the chances they will honour a 3 year warranty? Buyer beware...Instantly we had privacy in our back yard! Easy to cinch up to our chain link fence, brass grommets in the corners also. We chose green which blends well with greenery nearby, not totally opaque which is a nice effect allowing limited vision behind. This product is well made and should survive years of use. My one minor complaint is that my dog is able to distinguish other dogs being walked and continues to bark on occasion, the primary goal was to obscure vision beyond our yard.We covered our chain link fence. It was easy to install and didn't take long at all. Our dogs don't bark at neighbours now. Planning on buying another roll for other side of yard.Works perfectly to give us more privacy from our neighbours.Love that we were able to get it at a custom length.easy to put up too!
